Growing up around tradesmen

Ashley Kartchner, Founder and President of Kartchner Group, was raised by and around tradesmen. From an early age, she recognized the value of hard work, loyalty, honesty, modesty, and respect – the values she saw displayed each and every day from the men and women she admired. As she grew up, she developed a passion for getting things done, storytelling, and photography – interests that she channeled into a successful marketing career. That career led her around the world, but she never forgot her early years and the impression made by the hard working men and women she respected.

Developing the entrepreneurial spirit

As a child, Ashley emulated the people around her, developing a deep-rooted work ethic early on. She started her first business, a golf ball recycling business, when she was just 8 years old. Later, at the age of 21, she stepped back into the entrepreneur role when she co-founded a project management company called “Avasa.” After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with degrees in Business Management and Communications, she worked for a number of international companies before founding Your Marketing Concierge, now known as Kartchner Group, in 2012.

With a flair for recognizing and harnessing the key strengths of others, Ashley built a team of talented professionals who assist her in developing and executing high performing marketing and business development strategies. After 10 years of working with companies in various industries, she realized where her passion lies – with the trades. For the past 5 years, she has worked primarily with mid-sized construction companies, architecture firms, engineering firms, and tradesmen and women of all types (pavers, home builders, suppliers, and others). She is dedicated to amplifying the men and women who work hard to build our country – spreading their messages like wildfire to bolster their businesses and attract career-minded, young men and women to the trades.
